Festival '24 took place Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. A pre-concert lecture was given by Dr. Milburn Price at 2:00 p.m. to a standing-room-only audience. This season's event was once again hosted by Riverchase United Methodist Church, located at 1953 Old Montgomery Highway.

Our guest clinician was Dr. Mark Nabholz, Director of Music at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Montgomery. Prior to joining Trinity’s staff in 2021, he was Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Mississippi College. We were accompanied once again by Karen Payne Krekelburg, Associate Director of Music and Arts and Organist at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.

The 2024 program was entitled "My Song in the Night," and the repertoire included many familiar works, some of which are rarely heard with orchestral accompaniment. Our feature work was drawn from Giacomo Puccini's Messe di Gloria. please click the link below to read the concert program.
