The Over the Mountain Festivals 2023 concert took place February 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Riverchase United Methodist Church. Our guest clinician was Dr. Milburn Price, Dean Emeritus of the School of the Arts at Samford University who last served as our clinician for Festival 2016. Karen Payne Krekelberg served again as our accompanist.

This year's program was entitled "Let Music Live!" and included Joseph Martin's The Awakening (from which the program title was drawn) and one of Dan Forrest's newest works, Ubi Caritas. Three movements of Franz Schubert's Mass in G Major served as this year's centerpiece. See the full program at the link below.
